London: A teenage student claims she has been left broken hearted by so many men her age that she will now only date 'sugar daddies'

Medical student Colver Pittilla, 19, said she has been left completely disillusioned by men in her age group that she is throwing in the towel with romance and instead dating for money and gifts.

Clover advertises herself online as a 'sugar baby' and since 2014 has dated 11 older men such as bankers, restaurant owners and company CEOs.

The 19-year-old claims her family support her decision which has seen her being showered with designer shoes, clothes, handbags and jewellery.

She has also been wined and dined in top restaurants such as Gymkhana and Nobu.

“I’ve had eleven sugar daddies so far, including three or four serious ones”, she said. “Boys do nothing but mess you around. At least if a sugar daddy breaks my heart, I can cry into a brand new pair of Manolo Blahniks.”

Ms Pittilla, who has currently taken a year-long break from her medical science degree to pursue her hobby of being a glamour model, continued: “Boys are immature – especially when you’re only 19.

“But I’m a very mature 19. With young guys you get nothing but heartache, and all they want is sex.

“I want more than this.”

She joined the website seekingarrangement.com after her friends egged her on, suggesting she needed a more mature man in her life, who she would at least get some nice gifts or posh dinners out of, even if it all went wrong.

“So I thought okay, I’ll try the older man,” she said. “And even better if it’s an older man who buys me nice things.”

Ms Pittilla’s first date was with a 34-year-old restaurant owner from London. The pair visited a London casino.

“He lost about £5,000 that night and didn't even bat an eye,” she said. “It was as if £5,000 was nothing to him. I couldn’t believe it. I just remember thinking, ‘I wish you’d spent that on me’.”

That relationship only lasted a few months. “That’s fine”, she said. “We both moved on. Nothing lasts forever!”

She is regularly taken to expensive bars and restaurants and on shopping trips for expensive clothes and underwear, and has been offered exotic holidays to Singapore and Dubai but has yet to take a sugar daddy up on the offer of travel abroad.

“I imagine if I went on holiday with them I’d be under their control and I imagine they’d demand sex”, she said. “I’m not at the stage where I want that set-up.”

One man decided he wanted to pay the fees for her to finish her degree and set her up in her own London flat – but she backed out as she didn’t feel “100 percent comfortable” about him and his intentions.

She said: “I knew he’d want me to do whatever he wanted, when he wanted. I like my freedom and with dates, I still have my freedom.”

One was married, but extremely wealthy, and a couple were young, good-looking guys with a lot of money to spare – and told her they just liked having someone attractive to take care of.

Another man paid to fly a rescue dog to Britain from Cyprus, after Ms Pitilla came across the pup’s story and told him she had to adopt him and give him a loving home.

The miniature poodle, Bianca joins Ms Pittilla’s five other dogs at home.

Not all her experiences have been glamorous, though. After telling one sugar daddy that she enjoyed a ‘good adventure’, he decided to take her on a muddy ride on a four-wheeler. But it did not quite go to plan.

“It wasn’t my thing at all”, she confessed. “The four-wheeler actually tipped over at one point and the two of us fell headfirst into the mud. I’d been wearing all these lovely new clothes he’d bought me and they got covered in brown sludge.”

Many would say dating a sugar daddy who offers gifts, including money, is something akin to prostitution – but Ms Pittilla said she has never been pressurised into sleeping with a sugar daddy, though in a few cases she said the relationship had developed into a sexual one.

“Sometimes, particularly with the older men, it just wouldn’t be possible for physical reasons, such as the one guy I was dating who was 74,” she said.

“He was the oldest guy. He wasn’t interested which I’m quite happy about as I don’t think I’d have been able to stomach it.

“All we ever did was talk and go to nice restaurants, but he loved buying me expensive clothes, so we’d often go shopping together. The only catch was he would only buy me something he liked.

“He hated pink, which is my favourite colour. I always wanted a pink bag, he’d say no, it’s pink put it away. He’d point out lingerie like a frumpy floral bra for an older woman that a young girl wouldn’t be seen dead in.

“He was sweet, though. I’d get presents through the post from him, like boxes of Victoria’s Secret underwear out of the blue.”

The youngest sugar daddy she has dated was 32. “He was seriously handsome and not difficult to fall into bed with’, she said.

“Your relationship with your sugar daddy can be anything you want it to be. There are girls that act like high-class escorts and offer sex if it suits them, but you don’t have to, it’s what you want to do.

“A lot of the time I’m approached by older men that just want some good-looking company. They tell me they want to talk and be seen with a pretty lady on their arm, and that’s fine by me.

The men Ms Pittilla dates often travel abroad and work long hours in high-powered jobs, going online to find women as they have not the time to chat women up in bars and clubs, she said.

She only sees her sugar daddies sporadically and only when it suits them but she said she had no issue with this unusual arrangement.

“I’m an independent woman,” she said. “I don’t mind not seeing them regularly.

“I’m done with traditional relationships - I have my white husky to cuddle up to when I’m watching TV – I’m not lonely, I don’t need a guy permanently”.

As for any feelings of guilt about using men in order to bag herself a new handbag – or even money – Ms Pittilla is not phased claiming it’s a mutual agreement that exploits neither partner.

“I never make them unhappy, but I don’t lie,” she said. “I’ve never declared my undying love to any of them. These men can see me and treat me with gifts, something which makes them happy, and we both have our freedom. I love it.”

Ms Pittilla’s parents John, 50, Andrea, 56, know all about her sugar daddies. Her mum noticed her daughter waltzing around in a new pink fluffy coat one evening and, when she asked her daughter where she got it, she spilled the beans.

She said: “Mum was shocked at first and so was dad when she told him.

“But they eventually got their head around it all and actually have a laugh about some of the stories I come home with.”

They’re proud I have independence, they’re happy I can take care of myself.

Ms Pittilla does not think she’ll be settling down with a steady guy any time soon. She said she’s enjoying the freebies way too much to settle in front of the telly.

“Mum’s a bit of a hoarder and I share her tendencies”, she said. “I like to accumulate pretty things – it’s become an obsession now so it would be pretty hard to go back.”
