Concerns raised as Eric Omondi flaunts Henry the 'Airport protester' new teeth

Henry Omondi the popular young protester associated with the airport selling saga  is at the centre of an online debate on how he got his teeth fixed. Initially, Henry had been offered free dental care by Dr. Branice Munyasa which Eric Omondi was privy of. However, when Eric posted a video of Henry having got denture at, Dr. Branice was not impressed and raised her concerns over the issue.

“ Finally we got our brother Henry Omondi new teeth! Thanks a lot to Port Florence  Dentist /Hospital in Kisumu ST Stephens Cathedral ACK. We are going to fly him around the World to see different Airports and appreciate him,” posted the comedian accompanying the video.

“I am honestly very sad to see Henry get a denture when we had offered to give him world class care that any paying patient would have gotten if they walked into our clinic and asked for the best option . I am also really really sad to see the teeth we had started working on to save them through Root-canal and crowns have been extracted and replaced with an acrylic denture,” she posted.

The issue has now caused and online debate especially on X, casting shadow on the initiative.

“We are currently doing free treatment for two X users and we chose to give them a slow and sustainable treatment plan that we would otherwise give any paying patient . We were doing the same for Henry  and I even took my time to explain to Eric what we were doing and the plan ahead,” shared Dr. Branice

The dentist has accused Eric of having stood up on her, despite having scheduled a number of sessions for appointments.

“I wasn’t going to compromise Henry’s treatment for a quick fix for optics just because he wasn’t paying for the treatment. Eric should come out and be clear that he never brought the boy for the three appointments that I cleared my schedule to wait for them they never showed up. Surely @ericomondi_ Henry deserved better than a denture. “ she added.
