She has become the go-to expert for expatriates seeking luxury living abroad. She's transforming the expatriate experience by offering exquisitely furnished homes. Her own residence, nestled in the serene suburbs of Nairobi, is the embodiment of her dreams a beautifully designed country home in a gated community. The architecture is both elegant and stylish, creating a haven of comfort and beauty. The entrance to her home is adorned with exotic flowers and plants, and in her garden, a personalised nameplate serves as a constant reminder of her journey and triumphs. Like a fairy tale come to life, Peris Njambi now owns the very home she dreamed of as a child, complete with the enchanting garden she always imagined. A hammock by the veranda, just outside the living room, opens up to the lush lawn, evoking a sense of relaxation and holiday vibes. As she welcomed me into her living room, I was immediately captivated by the spectacular art pieces adorning the walls, with the focal point being a traditional fireplace where crackling firewood added a cosy warmth, especially inviting on a chilly day. A hammock by the veranda, just outside the living room, opens up to the lush lawn. The deep blue accent walls exuded character and personality, while covetable portraits of women, all with touches of blue, dominated the space. Her affinity for the colour blue is evident, and it ties the room together beautifully. Art is her signature, and she exercises her talent skilfully, combining vibrant colours, textures, and patterns. "I am deeply committed to empowering women because they have been pivotal in my life since I was young. That's why I surround myself with portraits that capture the full spectrum of emotions women experience. They truly are the backbone of society," she said. Her blue luxe sofa seats are both comfy and cosy, crafted by a talented furniture artisan she trusts. The cushions, with their intricate designs, add a cheerful touch to the room. The chandelier lighting above is elegant and magnificent, enhancing the ambiance of the entire space. As we ascended the stairs, the striking, evocative feminine art pieces bursting with colour and drama created a fantastic transition to the upper floor. The landing area, bathed in natural light from a floor-to-ceiling window, felt open and inspiring. A whiteboard, scribbled with her ever-evolving goals, caught my eye. "I keep changing my goals and dreams; this reminds me daily of what I'm aiming for and how far I need to go to achieve them, and delete what I have achieved," she said. As we moved into the bedrooms, I was struck by the iconic portraits of influential figures like Oprah Winfrey, each one a reminder of the heights she aspires to reach. In her own bedroom, a jaw-dropping art piece depicting Italy takes centre stage. Her spacious ensuite bedroom was adorned with an exquisite piece. Not only is it visually refreshing, but it also serves as her vision board, a daily reminder of the dreams she's working to bring to life. A decorative mirror reflects the elegance of the space, while a luxurious couch beside it creates the perfect spot to curl up with a book. Her master bedroom balcony, frequented by chirping birds, adds to the sense of tranquillity. "I feed the birds on my balcony; it's a wonderful experience," she said. Her wooden bed, draped in luxurious bedding, exudes both elegance and comfort.
