Kenya is the 12th best country in Africa and 92nd in World, according to this year's Good Country Index results released yesterday.
The good country index looks at progress in science and technology, culture, international peace and security, world order, planet and climate, prosperity and equality and health and well-being.
The Good Country Index measures what each country on earth contributes to the common good of humanity, and what it takes away relative to its size.
It gives each country a balance sheet to show at a glance whether it is a net creditor to mankind, a burden on the planet, or something in between.
Kenya is at number 56 in science and technology, 57 in world order, 68 in health and well being, 70 in international peace and security, 110 in prosperity and equality. It is ranked 129 worldwide in culture and 144 in planet and climate.
