As human beings we are known for complaining. Complaints are raised on anything and everything.
Negative comments are tweeted and retweeted. I am neither a supporter of the Jubilee government nor of the opposition, CORD.
I give credit where it is due and I condemn what I believe is wrong. The Jubilee government has had its downfalls and achievements.
Unlike most critics I would like to focus on the three major achievements of Jubilee Government.
The education sector has improved in the country. This is through a review of the curriculum in both primary and secondary schools.
The lessons the pupils and students currently learn are of uttermost importance in their future careers.
The number of university students acquiring loans from HELB increased and the number of technical training colleges also increased.
In the health sector, the government has worked in procuring the necessary equipment for hospitals. Free maternity project has led to an increase in deliveries in hospitals.
The further decentralization of the health service, administration and management has brought about improvement.
At least every county has a major referral hospital. On Kenya's economy, the Jubilee government has tried to improve it.
The World Bank and IMF had projected a 6.5 per cent growth for Kenya and 5.5 per cent growth for Africa.
This shows that Kenya has greatly advanced. Kenya got an award for the lowest rates at the International Market.
It shows also that investors have confidence in Kenya's economy. Kenya's performance has earned the country recognition in terms of investment and ease of doing business.
Every government has its merits and demerits. I urge all citizens to think critically before judging, after all every coin has two sides.
