SCHOOLS: Nyakach Girls and Oyugi Ogango send warning shots in netball

Oyugi Ogango kicked off their Nyanza Region netball title defense on the front foot after crushing Lambwe 43-13 and humiliating Omwari 74-2 in their opening two Group A matches played at Kisii School on Thursday.
Ogango are in Group A alongside Kandaria, Omwari and Lambwe.
Former champions Nyakach Girls also sent warning shots after a 62-4 win over Rirumi and 26-13 win over Nyango.
Both Oyugi Ogango and Nyakach Girls are through to the semifinals with a game to spare.

Oyugi Ogango will face Kandaria in their final pool match on Friday from 10am while Nyakach play Ayora.
Nyakach are top of Group B with six points ahead of Rirumi, Ayora and Nyango.
In other results, saw Kandaria edge out Omwari 45-7, Ayora defeat Rirumi 31-17 and Lambwe edge Kandaria 26-15. Nyango also defeated Ayora 33-18.
