Woman Rep Dorice Donya is the latest victim of goon attacks after her office car was pelted with stones as she left a funeral service in Kisii this evening.
Donya had addressed mourners at Egetuki area of Bomachoge Chache, Kisii, after which an unknown number of youths attacked her convoy.
Her office car, registered in the name of Affirmative Action Fund, was pelted with stones, vandalizing its rear windscreen.
The Woman Rep had made her speech at the funeral but was later booed as she delivered a condolence message from the National Assembly Majority Chief Whip Slyvanous Osoro.
Tension remained high at the funeral which was also attended by Kisii Governor Simba Arati and area MP Alfa Miruka.

Donya sat alongside former Woman Rep Mary Otara in a different tent from that of Governor Arati and MP Miruka during the Mass which was conducted by the Catholic Church.
Miruka who also addressed the media called on Governor Arati to plan for a peace meeting with Gusii leaders.
"We respect our Governor and it is prudent that he calls the house into order."
The Woman Rep later reported the incident at the nearby Ogembo Police Station. She later addressed the media from her Kisii Town office.
"We have reached a point where the top security organs have to come in and restore order. We have leaders who are guarded by police but still, we are attacked and booed in their backyard by hired goons."
She said; "It is sad that some politicians are walking into public meetings with goons, one and half years after general elections. This is shameful."
According to Donya, the chaos had escalated to the point that locals were no longer attending public meetings.
The leaders were attending the funeral services of the late Dan Ondari who was a contractor in the county.
Kisii has been experiencing increasing cases of attacks on innocent locals and leaders. The attacks are believed to be organized by a group of armed youth who are inked to certain politicians.
Several people have been treated at different hospitals in the recent past while others are surviving with life threatening injuries.
