Kenya's largest hospitality home brand, Sarova Resorts and Lodges is keen on expanding its footprint in Kenya and in the continent, Managing Director, Mr Jimi Kariuki has disclosed.
In an interview with The Standard, Kariuki said that the hotel chain that has been operating for over four decades is continually looking for new business growth opportunities in Kenya and the African continent as it seeks to expand.
''We are looking for both ownership and management opportunities. In the last two years for example we have added two more portfolios- The Sarova Woodlands in Nakuru and Spirit of the Maasai Mara, a Sarova Hotel sginature Collection brand,'' the MD said.
He added that apart from expanding, they are continuing to reinvest in current products.
Already a complete upgrade of its Mombasa and Kenyan Coast flagship product, the Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort and Spa is complete. Work in turning around its Makutano Convention Centre is ongoing.

This brand extension gives us an opportunity to offer our guests an unparalleled and unforgettable luxury experience in exclusive and serene locations.
“Today’s customers are looking for different and positively memorable experiences when they stay in a hotel or in a lodge. Our focus as a business will be to continue to understand these changing trends and new market segments better and to become more customer-centric in our service delivery.
