Popular Nollywood star arrives for music cultural festival

Nigerian popular actress and musician Patience Ozokwor is expected to jet into the country today at 6pm.

She is here at invitation by the Nigerian High Commission, who will be hosting the annual Tafrija Festival on December 11, at the Nigerian High Commission along Wood Avenue.

A household name, Mrs Ozokwor, popularly known as Mama G, will grace the music cultural event where Kenyan artists showcase talent.

Ozokwor has appeared in more than 200 movies and is reputed for perfecting the roles of a wicked woman and stepmother. Ironically, contrary to her negative acting roles, she is a role model to many fans, including Kenyans.

Several local artistes are set to share the stage with Ozokwor. Also a musician, Ozokwor took the music industry by storm when she released her debut album, National Moi Moi.
