The season kicks off with the London Derby between Crystal Palace and Arsenal on Friday evening.
Mikel Arteta has really rejigged his squad ahead of the new season and the ambition is clear - challenge the big boys. Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus seemed to have fitted in seamlessly while Oleksandr Zinchenko is also definitely a quality addition to the Gunners squad.
Fabio Vieira (Porto) and Matt Turner (New England Revolution) are the other signings done by the Gunners who also handed the captain's band to Martin Odegaard.
Palace on the side will look to improve on last season's 12th place finish. Although there haven't been any notable transfers into the team, Patrick Vieira will be eager to guide his side to a respectable finish in his second full season in charge.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek is the only big name that has been linked with a move to Palace but so far nothing has been finalized.

Last season's runners-up Liverpool will be away to Fulham in an early kick-off match on Saturday afternoon.
After a shaky pre-season, Liverpool showed why they are still a dangerous side by deservedly edging Manchester City to win the Community Shield.
Perhaps the biggest addition to Klopp's squad is Darwin Nunez who is a direct replacement for Sadio Mane who moved to Bayern Munich. Nunez has already shown flashes of brilliance and it will be interesting to see how he fares in the EPL.
Fulham's midfield has been boosted by the arrival of Portuguese Defensive Midfielder Palhinha from Sporting Lisbon.
Everton vs Chelsea - 19:30 PM EAT

Chelsea will be eager to kick off the Todd Boehly era officially with a win over Everton at Goodison Park.
The Blues lost 0-4 to Arsenal in the Florida pre-season Cup but recovered to beat Udinese 3-1 in a friendly on Friday.
Raheem Sterling adds some interesting dynamic to Chelsea's attacking options as was evident in the win over Udinese. After missing out on key transfer targets, Thomas Tuchel will have to get the best out of his available players this season.
Everton has also been largely underwhelming during the transfer window and has a lot of work to do this season after escaping relegation by a whisker. The team lost to Arsenal and Minnesota in pre-season and Frank Lampard must be a worried man ahead of the clash against his former side.
Fans have been protesting against the club's owner Farhad Moshiri primarily due to the struggle in the transfer window and things aren't looking for Everton, at least not at the moment.
Sunday 7th August
Manchester United vs Brighton - 4PM EAT

Erik ten Hag will be hoping to start his first official duty for Manchester United on a high when the Reds host Brighton on Sunday at Old Trafford.
United were impressive during the early stages of the pre-season and even thumped Liverpool 4-0 in one of the matches. However, the Erik ten Hag charges finished off with a bit of a limp, losing by a solitary goal to Atletico Madrid on Saturday and drawing 1-1 against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.
However, there's some sense of renewed optimism in the team and the team will be buoyed by the arrival of Lisandro Martinez, Christian Eriksen and Tyrell Malacia.
Brighton will be without Yves Bissouma who has since joined Spurs with the only signing available to face United being Julio Enciso who joined the club from Club Libertad.
Brighton recorded its highest-ever finish in the EPL last season, 9th on the log, and will be looking to even do better this time. A perfect start against Man United away would be a big boost.
