Just because you are dressing for two does not mean you have to completely change your personal style. If you have a hip, trendy or fitting sense of style, or you like going to work in suits, you can still maintain the look even during pregnancy.

Maternity wear has evolved and stores and local designers stock sexy maternity clothes. If are newly pregnant and need to adjust your wardrobe, here are a few tips to start with:

Tops: Pick the one’s that will lift your bust, flaunting your growing cleavage and still keep your growing bum comfortable- V-neck, wrap around, empire waist, fitting T-shirts. Try the printed type too- they tend to take attention away from your belly.

Jeans: Look for an adjustable waistband, stretch material and a flattering cut, such as bootleg. And with jeans never running out of fashion, you are likely to wear them even after you deliver.

Cargo Pants: While cargo pants are relaxing and can be worn easily, be careful to wear them with a fitting T-shirt or empire tops that hug over your bump for a flattering look. Don’t play baggy with these ones; you will look twice as big.

Skirts: You can now put your gipsy skirts to action, the material and design is loose enough for comfort but still remain stylish. A lot of local designers have also tried to be creative with a number of lesso’s or kitenges for the now fashion

Dress: Best worn when going for a date. Wear a flattering fitting wrap around to still look sexy for you husband when you go for dinner so he becomes the envy of his friends. Maxi dresses are very appropriate for the holiday seeing that they already have the empire waist.

Tailor made: Get your best-cut outfits tailor made, to suit your growing body. It is very convenient if you don’t get a fitting size of what you need in the stores, also get creative working around your growing bump.
