American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer Travis Scott is set to make his first television appearance at the Billboard Awards. The awards will take place on May 15 in Las Vegas. This comes six months after his Astroworld concert tragedy that left ten people dead.

This will be Scott’s second performance after making an appearance at a nightclub in Miami in the early hours of Sunday morning.

He had previously performed at private events in Southern California since the Astroworld tragedy that took place on November 5.

Following the deadly incident, Travis has faced intense public backlash for his alleged handling of the deadly incident. He was also sacked as a 2022 Coachella headliner.

After keeping a relatively low profile for six months, Scott returned to the stage on Saturday for the first time publicly since the festival.

Sharing the club flyer with his massive online following, the rapper wrote: 'Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh'

It was also announced last month that Scott is expected to perform at his first festival since Astroworld this coming November.

He will headline the Primavera Sound festival this coming November, and will play three shows, with New Zealand singer Lorde scheduled on the lineup before him.

The star is expected to be performing in front of crowds larger than 100,000 at the festival which will visit Brazil, Chile and Argentina.

Scott is expected to appear at more concerts over the summer of 2022, according to reports.

As the 31 year old makes his musical comeback following the deadly incident, he is focused on his family. He recently welcomed his second child together with Kylie Jenner.

The two also share daughter Stormi who is four years old.
