Police officer tragically swept away during courageous rescue in Nairobi floods

Many motorists were left stranded on various roads following the floods on Sunday, March 24. [Wilberforce Okwiri, Standard]

At least three people have been confirmed dead following the raging floods that caused havoc within Nairobi County on Sunday, March 24, police say.

Among those killed is a police officer attached to Kamkunji Police Station who was swept by floods after successfully rescuing four people who were trapped in a stall within County Bus Station, Nairobi.
