Three people arrested, Sh12 million and 25 sacks of bhang recovered

The officers told The Standard that the owner of the apartment where the drugs were found had previously been arrested and arraigned in court in 2022 where she was released after paying a Sh500,000 fine.

Some of the narcotics were in four cartons,173 pieces of suspected blended drug/bhang, and 42 cartons each containing 200 pieces of cigarettes.

The DCI has since placed the three in custody awaiting arraignment in court on Wednesday, August 16.
