Speaking on Radio Maisha morning show, yesterday, the lawyer accused the National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichungwa of disrespecting the Jubilee party leader and former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"Kimani Ichungwa is the root cause of all this. He is always there when trouble brews in parties and it is like he is specifically assigned to abuse Uhuru. He has no respect for our leader," he said.
He also accused Nominated MP Sabina Chege who has been appointed acting party leader by the rival faction and East African Legislative Assembly MP Kanini Kega, of betrayal and asked those who are not happy in Jubilee to quit.
"Uhuru Kenyatta trusted her and nominated her to the National Assembly which was the only chance we had as a party," he said.
"Instead of them reciprocating the trust by being loyal to the party she is now supporting UDA by attending the meetings and taking pictures," he added.
Kinuthia said Jubilee is not owned by any individual but by the people who are the party delegates.
"There are those who think that Jubilee is for Uhuru Kenyatta, Sabina Chege or Kega but the bottom line is the party is owned by the delegates who were at Ngong Racecourse during our National Delegates Congress(NDC)," he said.
He insisted that Chege and Kega are being used to split Jubilee.
"If we are not satisfied with their ruling we have the opportunity to go to court, we have agreed to go to court so that it makes the ruling because we have no trust in the two parties and are just but being used to split the jubilee party," he said.
The lawyer urged the government to be sensitive to the plight of mwananchi and lower the cost of basic commodities.
"This is our country and if we burn it we will have nowhere to go so let us embrace love and peace amongst ourselves, secondly the government should shun one party state and advocate for multi-party and lastly we want to see the price of fuel and sugar come down because the donkey is tired," he said.
