Amos Kimunya of 'I'd rather die than resign' fame calls it quits

Kimunya, who once served under the plum finance docket under the late President Mwai Kibaki's regime, stated that he appreciates the dynamics of life that often offer surprising circumstances.

"We did our best for Kipipiri, we are proud of our achievements, and that history will never be erased. The people have however made their choice, and we respect it. We wish them well. May God bless Kenya, and Kipipiri". He ended.

The Majority leader who took over the position following the removal of Garissa Township MP Aden Duale in 2020 was also at the center stage in mobilising Mt Kenya locals during the BBI initiative.
