If outgoing American President Donald Trump were to pore through the comments on his social media posts, and if perchance he cared what Kenyans think of him, he would most likely get a heartbreak of a lifetime.

Over there, there has been no respite for the man who won elections “by a lot” and who is hanging on to the courts to affirm it.

From the most powerful man in the world to a whiner on social media, Trump’s fall from the top of world political order is epic. And Kenyans are not about to miss taking a piece of him as he goes down, for good and bad.

“Four years ago, with the help of Kaspersky, Russia made you President, A computer-generated President, live with it,” Giste Wa Kabiro, reacting to Trump’s “Ballot Corruption will be exposed tonight at 9:00pmE on Sean Hannity on Fox News!” post said.

Creative memes likening Trump’s predicament to Kenyan electoral experiences have also ruled the airspace since the official results came in. From being advised to seek services of a Toronto-based barrister to swear him in and to phony telephone conversations between him and top Kenyan politician, Kenyans have had a good time.

Others referred to the “deep state” concept, “accept and move on” principle, the computer servers analogy relating to Kenya’s 2017 General Election and the lingua franca that has developed from Kenya’s Covid-19 containment journey championed by Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe.

“Just normalise accepting results. Move out of White House or we vacate you by force,” Kiragu KJ said.

When he made the infamous declaration that he had won by a lot, Kenyans descended on him; with one Ndegwa telling him to deal with the deep state first if he was to make headway in affirming his victory.

Drawing comparisons to Kenya’s elections, Phillip Orwa posed; “How Comes (sic) whenever Raila Odinga says he won elections in Kenya USA threatens to place sanctions and advisories! Now feel how he feels. Accept and Move on.”

Wambui Wa Ngunjiri had no mercy for a man who had just posted 70 million-plus votes; “No you didn’t. Go home,” as Lang’at Wesley came to his defence: “I also believe so. I haven’t recovered. The fraud was devastating.”

When he posted about computer voting systembeing wide open to fraud and intervention, Kimmy Mayore pounced: “Other former occupants of the White House are writing books while you are busy posting crap!...your legacy will be more crappy.”

Joseph Kasimolo would not understand why Trump would want Americans to vote manually, while Stacy Ogasusu relished in Raila’s “vifaranga vya kompyuta” moment for the Americans.

And when he tried to harp back on the threshold identification of ballots turning out bigger than he had anticipated, Nyeri-based political activist Martha JM Miano was waiting on the corner with a big slap:

“Accept and move on. You are defeated and down.”

Miano’s comment attracted hordes of replies dismissing her while others agreed.

Willy Omosa was shocked that Trump would fire the Defence secretary and then thank them; “Indeed, you are expired.”

“Does the Constitution allow a lame-duck president to fire staff? Trump is creating more problems for himself as if he hasn’t got enough already. He should wear the big boy pants and leave,” Kimani Wa Thuo fumed.

Other Kenyans likened the turn of events in the US to raw comedy, others calling Biden “System President” and Trump “People’s President”, while others teased Trump to rejoin his own apprenticeship show and fire himself there.

Not even Trump’s good news announcement on an upcoming vaccine could brighten up Kenyans. Instead, they congratulated the president-elect, claiming he had hit the ground running.

“Under Joe Biden we are getting back to WHO,” Kaguma Kagema tweeted.

Trump’s announcement that ballot corruption would be exposed attracted mockery with people claiming he was too mouthy for a loser. When Roselyne Walumbe noticed that Kenyans were toppling over themselves to mock the self-proclaimed stable genius, she riled them back:

“USA is not Africa. Please, let’s discuss about BBI, the elephant in the room. Pilipili usioila yakuwashia nini?
