NTSA annuls licences of 51 driving schools

The National Transport and Safety Authority on Thursday evening revoked the licences of 51 driving schools and their branches for failing to comply with the law.

On the statement attached on its Twitter page, the NTSA said it re-validated driving school licenses so as to assess whether they had complied with rules. 

The affected schools are in Nairobi, Embu, Kisii, Kisumu, Kakamega, Mombasa, Embu, Nakuru, Garissa, Thika, Kiambu, Bungoma, Murang’a, Eldoret, Marsabit, and Machakos counties.

The NTSA has also warned the members of the public against enrolling in the listed driving schools because they are not accredited.
