Statehouse spokesperson and Head of President’s Strategic Communication Unit Kanze Dena at a past event.

In the scenic Ol Pejeta Conservancy and overlooking Mount Kenya, Statehouse spokesperson and Head of President’s Strategic Communication Unit (PSCU) Kanze Dena exchanged vows of marriage with her secret man today.

It was top secret affair, one that even caught her close friends unawares and one held in the restricted but exotic venue- the Sweet Waters Serena camp inside the conservancy. No phones were allowed.

Our sources at the invite-only event say she walked down the aisle dressed in a flowing cream gown to the arms of her man, Nick Mararo. A communication expert, Nick is little known and our efforts to construct the picture of the man did not bear much.

Her bosom buddy, Citizen TV’s Lulu Hassan was among the chosen few who graced the occasion.

Kanze’s story is an extraordinary one. Her appointment as the President’s spokeswoman was a bolt from the blues.
