Women campaigning for the National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate, Raila Odinga, held a fundraising event on Saturday to boost his bid in the October 17 election, and for voter education and mobilisation.
The event dubbed ‘Daughters of Raila Carwash’ was held at Luchar Carwash, opposite Uhuru Gardens, Nairobi.
The 'Daughters of Raila' who were in t-shirts branded with the Opposition leader’s image and name, is a voluntary group made of up young women who joined hands to spearhead Raila’s presidential dream.

Raila had last week urged Kenyans to send donations to the NASA coalition to boost his bid in the poll.
The money was to be contributed via M-Pesa paybill 991444 or Co-operative Bank account name ODM.
Campaigns for the repeat presidential election officially began on September 6 and will end on October 15.
