Kayole South MCA Elizabeth Manyala was last Thursday rushed to hospital after she was assaulted at City Hall. She claimed she fell after being pushed by a county assembly official for declining to approve the withdrawal of Sh800,000 from an account of the women’s caucus which she chairs.
“I am currently at the Nairobi Hospital. I am suffering from injuries to my neck and I’m waiting for a CT scan because I might have a crack in my skull,” claimed Ms Manyala. She sustained head and waist injuries and is currently fitted with a neck brace at the Nairobi Hospital.
