Ol Kalou man arrested for defiling 12-year-old daughter as mother slept

Ol Kalou, Kenya: A 12-year-old girl has been admitted to JM Kariuki Memorial Hospital in Ol Kalou after she was allegedly defiled by her 45-year-old father.

The Sunday night incident has left residents of Mukindu village in shock. The man is said to have committed the act while the mother was asleep.

Nyandarua Central OCPD Wilson Kosgey explained the father dragged her outside where he repeatedly defiled her. "The girl has revealed that the father also defiled her last week, and warned her not to tell her mother," Kosgey said.

He added that the mother got suspicious after she found blood stains on the toilet, prompting her to question the young girl who revealed her ordeal.

The suspect has been arrested and is being held at Ol Kalou Police Station.
