Manchester United have made a bid for Tottenham striker Harry Kane, reports say.
United have made Spurs and England star Kane their top summer transfer target , with Louis van Gaal ready to make official their interest in the form of a bid.
And Spanish newspaper Marca claims that an official bid has been made by the Old Trafford side.
The Spanish outlet adds further that the offer has been rejected, however, and it is not yet known whether United will return with an improved bid.
After starting 2014-15 as a relative unknown, striker Kane ended it with 31 club goals, another on his England debut and as a £40m target for Manchester United - Spurs’ opponents on the first day of the season.
