US: Police were called out to a school - because two seven-year-olds were kissing.
The bizarre incident happened at an unnamed elementary in Manatee County, Florida, due to concerns about a "lewd and lascivious" act.
Cops were responding to allegations that the children kissed on the lips during class last Tuesday.
An officer was sent along from the Manatee County Sheriff's department to investigate, according to the report, which includes a charge description as "unnatural and lascivious".
A highly-edited report of the incident was later released by police, but it did not make clear who made the original kissing allegations.
Police officer April Culbreath spoke with a teacher who witnessed the incident.
The deputy eventually concluded there was "no indication there was anything sexual about the incident" and no evidence that Florida state law had been violated.
"This case should be closed unfounded," Culbreath noted.
