EVE BRIDAL: How did you meet?

The newlywed on the red carpet arrive for the reception.

Esther: We were in the same college, but never took notice of each other untill the annual schools and colleges drama festivals brought us together.

EB: What attracted you to each other?

Esther: He is kind-hearted, caring, holds family principles and, of course, his height and handsomeness.

Chris: Her figure, sexy style of dressing and her company made me want to be with her not only every minute of the day, but my entire life.

EB: How long did you date?

Chris: We dated for six years.

EB: Where and how did you propose to her?

Chris: I proposed to her twice! The first one was on her birthday, and the second one was at a local five star hotel and that is how she ended up getting two engagement rings.

EB: How was the dowry negotiation?

Chris: Luckily, I was not taken around in circles. It went down smoothly.

EB: What was the most challenging part in planning the wedding?

Esther:  Chris had just moved to Mombasa, therefore, I had to do most of the planning with my wedding planner in Nairobi. This wasn’t easy, especially when it came to making decision on things that required his presence and preference.

Chris: Finding time from my tight work schedule to dash to and from Mombasa to help my wife with the wedding planning.

EB: What was the most interesting part of the wedding?

Esther:  The reception, the dancing and merrymaking filled my heart with joy.

Chris: Seeing my wife literally walk down the aisle looking so radiant was just heavenly. Words can’t properly explain it.

EB: How did you settle on your wedding theme, colours and design?

Esther:  I wanted a theme with a wow factor, so I went for a garden wedding with lush flowers and a serene setting. My colours were hot pink and royal purple, which worked well with the restaurant style reception exuding elegance.
