CID to handle bullets probe

Detectives from CID headquarters have taken over a case in which a senior City Hall official received a parcel containing two live bullets.

The bullets were mailed to Director of Legal Affairs Owuor Aduma through his official address at the council.

Head of the council’s investigation Bernard Mate handed over the bullets to ballistics experts at CID headquarters to carry out investigation.

Mate said on Wednesday the experts would determine the origin of the ammunition after conducting tests.

"After the tests, we will know the way forward because they will show many features. Other matters will be handled from there," said Mate.
