Justice Mugo misses court sessions

High Court Judge Murugi Mugo failed to show up in court for two consecutive days despite several cases being listed for her attention. Justice Mugo was on Wednesday scheduled to handle 13 civil cases. Resident Judge Mary Kasango told litigants and advocates she was out on an official duty.

On Thursday, she did not appear in court to handle four civil cases. The Law Society of Kenya has written to the Chief Justice urging him to recall the embattled judge from Meru to Nairobi.
