Prof Makau Mutua on Friday opined that only science would
solve the Coronavirus puzzle, giving an example of Italy.
Mutua said the number of deaths in the European country in
the past 24 hours (919) is enough proof that it takes more than prayer to
combat the pandemic that has claimed over 28,000 lives so far.
“Those who think PRAYER can STOP coronavirus should watch
ITALY, the seat of the VATICAN.
“Today’s coronavirus death toll in ITALY is 919, the HIGHEST
EVER. Let’s return to SCIENCE,” he said.

is supporting their efforts.
Although these vaccines are not effective against 2019-nCoV,
vaccination against respiratory illnesses is highly recommended to protect your
health.

He also emphasized the importance of prayer saying although
some opine that the nation should turn to science, trusting God would go a long
way.
“It is good to pray together as a nation…a nation prospers

“There are those who say we should depend on science but even
science needs God,” he remarked
