The Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) is on the spot after it awarded students who graduated with BSc degrees in Mining and Mineral Processing engineering in 2018 with certificates indicating BSc in Mining and Marine Engineering.
Hashtag has since learnt that the 15 students who graduated during the 32nd congregation held on November 30, 2018 received letters from the Registrar Academic affairs with printing errors.
The affected students have been asked to wait for the next two months for the correct certificates to be printed.
Students Hashtag spoke to fear missing potential jobs and scholarship opportunities.
