Elite units have killed two terrorists at Dusit Hotel complex in Westlands, Nairobi as operation to neutralise attackers continues.

At least 174 people have been rescued in an attack that has left 15 people dead. The bodies arrived at Chiromo Mortuary by 1am and more are expected. Attendants said they had been put on standby.

Identification papers indicated that 11 were Kenyans one was American and one was British while two others did not have their documents.

Reports indicate that five gunmen stormed the building in an attack that begun after 3pm on Tuesday. There was an explosion at the parking lot and then a suicide bomb blast in the hallway of the dusitD2 Hotel. One of attackers blew himself up on Tuesday.
