Do you see yourself as THE NEXT PRESENTER? KTN is searching for Kenya’s ultimate TV presenter.
All interested Pulsers (18 – 24) and Pulsaters (25- 35) should avail themselves for auditions which will take place at Film Studios, Nairobi, on November 22, and at KPA Sports Club, Mbaraki, Mombasa, on November 23. YU is partnering with KTN to bring you this challenge.
If you have screen presence, good language command, good voice, good diction, superb writing skills, college education and spontaneity come for the auditions between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
Watch as they battle it out to become KENYA’S TOP TV presenter. For 13 weeks, we’ll eat with them, sleep with them, laugh with them and argue join in their animated arguments.

P Unit for Miss University
MTV Awards nominees P Unit will tonight rock Kikuyu Campus during the annual Miss University of Nairobi (Kikuyu Campus) beauty contest. The Si Lazima singers will thrill their fans during the Zain sponsored event, which starts at 7pm till dawn. Meanwhile hypeman/rapper DNG will be performing at Kenyatta University the same evening. There will be lots of free merchandise to be won.
Hip-hop night out at Qs
Veteran decksman, Easy B will be on the decks at Crooked Q playing the best of hip-hop music. The event dubbed Hip-hop night out will strictly play the genre’s best music all night long.
Kisima music awards for next weekend
The 8th edition Kisima Music Awards gala night takes place next weekend (November 29) at the Ridgeways Centre, Kiambu Road. Uganda’s PAM Awards Artiste of the Year Juliana Kanyomozi, Blu 3 and Kalahari (Namibian singers) will perform during the awards.
The music awards will reward excellence in music, nurture raw talent and acknowledge stakeholders in the industry. Entry is Sh3,500 advance and Sh4,000 at the gate for VIPs while gallery tickets go for Sh1,000 advance and Sh1,500 at the gate.
VIP Golden Circle tickets go for Sh5,000 while corporate table is Sh50,000
Dress code is neo-royal.
East Africa Motorshow for Impala Grounds
The much-waited car show parade, East Africa Motor Show is on the cards. The event is expected to take place at the Impala Grounds on December 6 and 7. Already various garages which ‘pimped out’ whips are polishing their machines. This year will see several celebrities from Uganda and Tanzania showcase their cars.
Rock Mania competition at Rock City Gardens
The Rock City Gardens, Kiambu Road, will host a sizzling dance competition dubbed Rock Mania whose winner gets Sh150,000 for the winning group or individual on December 7. Interested Pulsers are expected to register for the competition with the club.
Pajama party at Apple Bees
Apple Bees will be hosting the Pajama and Lingerie Party this weekend. The show which will starts at 7pm tonight and tomorrow will also see performances by Lovy Love and Kimaro Suzan from Jamaica.
