Following Kyle Walker’s move from Tottenham to Manchester City last week, Kenyan international Victor Wanyama decided to unfollow the 28-year-old England international on Instagram.
Wanyama’s move to unfollow Kyle Walker was praised by a section of Spurs fans who termed it as an act of allegiance and loyalty to the club.
Walker joined City at £50m transfer fee, making him one of the most expensive defenders, joining David Luiz and John Stones who were sold at similar price.
@SpursInTheBlood tweeted Wanyama actually unfollowed Walker's IG - suggests something likely happened behind closed doors. Too bad we probably will never find out.
@tom_spur posted I'm buzzing at Wanyama unfollowing Walker on Instagram. He deserves a statue at the new Lane. What a legend he'll be.
