Suspected serial killer Evans Juma Wanjala has been charged with murder.
Wanjala who appeared before Kapenguria High Court judge Justus Bwonwonga has been linked to the murder of three girls in Moi’s Bridge, Uasin Gishu County.
He is accused of killing Staicy Achieng in Soy between December 31, 2017 and January 1,2020.
Wanjala is also accused of killing Linda Cherono in Moi’s Bridge between June 11 and 15 this year, and Mary Eruza at Tuiyabei in Soy, between December 15 and 16, 2020.

Wanjala denied the charges and, through lawyer Michael Masinde, asked the court to release him on bond. The prosecution opposed his application.
Justice Bwonwonga directed the defence to file the bail application before the High Court in Eldoret where it would be heard.
Prosecutor Jalson Makori told court the suspect may interfere with witnesses if released on bail.
Justice Bwonwonga directed that the suspect be remanded at Eldoret GK Prison.
The case will be mentioned on September 8 before the High Court in Eldoret.
The victims’ parents who appeared in court said they hoped justice would be served.
