The Ruto Reloaded Movement will be moving across the country to highlight to Kenyans the positive achievements made by President William Ruto in the last 20 months he has been in office.
The movement's Patron, former Nairobi Mayor Joe Akech, said the President has made tremendous strides in putting the country on the right trajectory towards achieving higher levels in development and that they will be showcasing that to Kenyans.
Speaking during a members’ sensitization meeting held in a Nairobi Hotel yesterday, Aketch said that it was high time Kenyans appreciated that they have the best leader as President who has won recognition among world leaders due his vision of a prosperous African continent.
“President William Ruto has put several measures in place aimed at ensuring that Kenya claims its rightful place among the community of nations, that is Kenyans need to know what their President is doing and that is what the Ruto Reloaded Movement will be doing,” said Aketch.
The former Nairobi Mayor said that they have already recruited 500,000 members into the movement across the country and that they will be getting more members in efforts to ensure that what the President is doing for Kenyans is highlighted and appreciated by citizens.
The Movement National Chairman Jacob Karanja said that in the President’s latest trip to the United States of America he managed to secure 700 million dollars’ worth of development with other global powerhouses lining up to do business with Kenya under Ruto’s leadership.
Karanja said that Kenya has witnessed unprecedented growth in various sectors empowering Kenyans to unleash their full potential to achieve success and that with time Kenyans will find out that they made the right decision to elect Ruto as the fifth President.
The Movement Chairperson said that the cost of living has significantly gone down with packets of maize flour retailing at Sh 230 when Ruto took office now going at Sh 130 while Sugar that was retailing at Sh 260 per Kg now going at Sh 160.
“We are out to support the agenda of the President to the grassroots, we will be moving across all the 47 counties to showcase what the government is doing, our government is doing a lot of work which needs to be showcased for all Kenyans to know,” said Karanja.
The movement leadership said that it does not support division among the leadership of the ruling party asking all elected leaders to work together to deliver the promises made to Kenyans during campaigns that propelled them to power during the August 2022 general election.
