Kanu Secretary-General Nick Salat has warned opponents against undermining his candidature for the Bomet Senate seat in next year's elections.
He said he is ready for the race and vowed to pull a surprise on his opponents.
"Undermine my candidature at your own risk. It is not about engaging in early campaigns. It is about the plan I have for the county," Salat said in Konoin yesterday during the burial of William Too.
It will be his third attempt to capture the seat after narrowly missing out in the 2013 and 2017 elections.
Salat will face Nominated MP Wilson Sossion, lawyer Hillary Sigei and former MCA Aurelia Rono and the incumbent Christopher Langat. Sossion, Sigei, Rono and Langat are expected to face off in UDA nominations. "I will transform the county," said Salat.
