ODM leader Raila Odinga’s campaign to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta got a boost after a donation of campaign vehicles.
The former prime minister yesterday said the General Election campaigns should be issue-based and not a platform to cause divisions among Kenyans.
Raila said Kenyans, and especially the youth, were disenchanted due to unemployment and a solution must be sought.
He was speaking at Chungwa House in Nairobi when the Director of Homeboys Entertainment Mike Rabar and Mombasa-based businessman Bernard Waore presented six fully-fitted vehicles for his campaign.

Raila urged Kenyans to continue adhering to the Covid-19 containment measures put by the government to help stop the spread of the virus.
He said the election period will have a lot of human activity and coming at a time of the pandemic, it was important for everyone involved in the campaigns, including members of the public, to take the necessary precautions to avoid contracting the virus.
Rabar told Raila the vehicles were fitted with state-of-the-art sound systems and would boost his campaign.
Raila also received 3,000 face masks, hand sanitizers and protective gowns to be used by the party during the campaign. They were donated by businessman Samuel Oliech Omolo of Biopharm Technologies.
