Joel Mogaka, the Seventh Day Adventist Church Pastor who was arrested on Friday morning in Kisii over the murder of his wife will be remain in custody for three more days.
The investigating officers Corporal William Bonuka filed a miscellaneous application before Ogembo Law Courts Chief Magistrate Denis Mikoyan to have the suspect detained for 14 days to allow DCI carry out further investigations.
Mogaka appeared in Court alongside his other accomplice; Fredrick Obure.

The Magistrate ordered that the suspects be taken for mental assessment and appear in Court on Friday.
Mogaka will be held at Ogembo Police station while Obure will be held at Kenyenya police station.
The pastor is accused to have played part in the killing of his wife on Thursday night at Omosasa village Gucha.
It is alleged that he later transported the body to a private morgue in Kisii town pretending that the deceased had committed suicide.
At the morgue, the hospital administration and other family members raised alarm leading to the arrest of the main suspect.
