Busta Rhymes

American rapper Busta Rhymes was recorded throwing a drink at a woman who touched his butt in Las Vegas.

A female fan, who has since been identified as Nikita Mathis, tried to get the rapper's attention as he was leaving the Magic Fashion Trade Show but he was far from impressed.

As soon as he felt a human hand on his behind, Busta quickly turned around and threw a plastic cup of water that he was holding.

Speaking to The Shade Room, Mathis said she did not mean to touch the rapper inappropriately as she just wanted to take a picture with him.

"I didn't mean to touch his behind, honestly. I was just happy to meet him and wanted a picture,' the fashion boutique owner admitted.

"I have been a long-time fan. I admit I shouldn't have touched him at all, but he's Busta. I just felt like I could possibly get a pic," she said.

Online, the incident generated drew a number of responses, most calling on women to respect men.

Nichelle: A lot of women feel like they have free range to grope and touch people simply because they're women. With the fact that society has created this narrative that any sexual attention towards a man is welcomed and it's not. Men get uncomfortable just like we do!

Prettiidenaii: She lucky it was just a drink. People not in the mood to play all the time.

Linds: Why did she feel like she could do that

JustlikeKarma: Why do people feel like it is okay to invade other folks personal space... this isn't okay if it were the other way around and she wanted to sue him for harassment y'all would support it. STOP TOUCHING FOLKS WITHOUT CONSENT

Dwayne Montgomery: It's crazy all these people are saying Busta was in the wrong, if it were the other way around he would have to put a whole pr team on the situation, folks would have called him out his name and all that!
