Agano Party Presidential candidate David Waihiga Mwaure has unveiled the names proposed by Kenyans to form part of his cabinet.
While addressing the press, Mwaure said he had appealed to Kenyans to send names of potential CSs and the responses have been coming in thick and fast.
Interestingly, Ida Odinga (Raila Odinga's wife) and Rachel Ruto (DP William Ruto's wife) have been fronted as potential Cabinet Secretaries and Waihiga says there is nothing wrong with that because they fit the bill.
"Why can't Mama Ida serve in government? She has fought for Kenya."
Other notable names on the list include Interior CS Fred Matiang'i and his Education counterpart George Magoha.
"We sent an appeal to Kenyans on social media so that they can suggest names of gifted people who can serve in our Cabinet. We have received names at our party offices of different people who can serve in our Cabinet should we form government.
"We want to make a disclaimer...These are just proposals. The name of our gospel brother Reuben Kigame has also ranked highly," he said.
Nyeri Archbishop Anthony Muheria was also mentioned and Mwaure said if he becomes the next President he will accord him that chance.
On the inclusion of Roots Party Presidential candidate George Wajackoyah in his team, the preacher said he would consider him provided he mends his ways.
"We have also said if Roots' party leader George Wajackoyah mends his ways, there is something he is trying to tell Kenyans. We can make him be in charge of the Cancer Centre we want to develop," he added.
Mwaure is one of the four presidential candidates in the upcoming General Election. With just days to the polls, the candidates are busy wrapping up campaigns with preparations in top gear as the country prepares to elect the fifth president.
