The annual National Prayer Breakfast meeting is currently underway at the Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi, and President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua have already arrived at the event.
This is Ruto's first prayer breakfast meeting as president.
Also present at the venue are the National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula, Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, Attorney General Justin Muturi and several CSs.
As at 7:38am, when the National Anthem was being sung, the opposition leaders had not been seen at the event.
Legislators from both houses from the Kenya Kwanza faction are in attendance.
Other invited guests are still streaming in, including diplomats, businesspersons and religious leaders.
Last week, Mr Wetang'ula indicated that more than 2,500 guests are expected at this year's National Prayer Breakfast themed "Reconciliation with God and with Man".
