Migori residents protest against the high cost of living on March 27, 2023. [Caleb Kingwara, Standard] As the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition pushed on with their second week of country wide protests against the high cost of living, many business premises remained closed.
This is despite the high number of security officers that were deployed to keep the protestors at bay.
