Kenya Kwanza allied lawmakers will now be taught etiquette as they prepare to handle and conduct House business, President William Ruto has said.
Ruto, who was speaking at the Alliance's Parliamentary Group meeting in Naivasha today, joked that some people had no knowledge of how to hold cutlery when fancy dining.
"Sometimes we get embarrassed when senior people don't even know how to hold a fork," the president noted.
The legislators, who are in Naivasha for the weekend will be taken through a crash course on etiquette, and be mentored by other MPs who have been in Parliament longer.
"To the seniors who are here, let's mentor the newcomers. Don't harass the young ones, show them how CDF works and how committees work," Ruto continued.

The president said much is expected of the leaders, as they met to craft a plan on National Assembly and Senate leadership, and housing, among others.
Both Kenya Kwanza and Azimio camps will nominate leaders who will battle out for National Assembly and Senate Leaders of Majority, chief whips, and their respective deputies.
