Emotions ran high in the auditorium at around 8.40 pm on Friday, pitting leaders of the two camps. Another commotion was witnessed at exactly 11.46 pm.
The Standard established that it wasn't the first incident of confusion, as it had been happening throughout the day.
Earlier, Cherera announced that all 290 Returning officers have already reported to the Bomas of Kenya, but the commission is yet to clear even half of them.
"We have 290 ROs who have reported to Bomas but so far we haven't even cleared half of them. We urge those at the tables to hasten their pace so that all of them can be cleared by tomorrow morning, Cherera said.
