The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has listed Outering Road as the most dangerous route in Nairobi, with 44 accident-caused deaths recorded in 2021.
Waiyaki Way follows with 38 fatalities.
Others are Mombasa Road and Northern Bypass with 29 cases each; Southern Bypass (28), Eastern Bypass (27), Thika Superhighway (25) and Kangundo Road (23).
Ngong Road ranks ninth with 22 deaths recorded in 2021; other sections of Thika Road (16), Jogoo Road (14), Juja Road (14), Lunga Lunga Road (13) and Airport North Road (13).

Kiambu Road was ranked the 15th most dangerous road in the city, with six deaths recorded.
Others are Limuru Road (5), Naivasha Road (5), Enterprise, Haile Selassie, Landhies, Lusaka and Wangari Mathai roads each recorded four deaths last year.
The NTSA data indicates a total of 381 deaths were recorded on the mentioned roads in 2021.
