CS Kagwe on April 4, 2020, hit the international headlines when American media outlet Wall Street Journal hailed his management of the coronavirus interventions. This was just days after the first case was noted in Kenya on March 13.
"Kenya's unlikely coronavirus hero is Health Minister Mutahi Kagwe,” Sam Walker who authored the article published by the Wall Street Journal partly wrote.

CS Amina, on the other hand, has been the topic of discourse after she was nominated to vie for the top job at the World Trade Organisation.
Amina who has been touted as one of the favourites faces five other candidates from Egypt, Mexico, Moldova, Nigeria and South Korea in the race for the job. Prof PLO Lumumba has also cut a niche as an expert in governance and legal affairs.
