NAIROBI, KENYA: Police are hunting for a matatu that was spotted dropping a human body on the roadside in Huruma area, Nairobi.
The body of the male adult was found on the roadside with stab wounds moments after it was thrown from the moving matatu early Thursday morning along Juja Road.
Nairobi County police boss Benson Kibue said the deceased is yet to be identified and police are looking for the matatu whose details were not taken.
“We believe there are more other witnesses who saw details of the matatu and we appeal for more information to be able to get know it,” said Kibue.

He added the body which was taken to the mortuary had stab wounds in the stomach and neck.
In Mukuru slums, police are investigating the killing of another man whose body was found dumped in the alleys.
The deceased is said to be a guard in the area and had stab wounds when the body was discovered.
Police say they are yet to know the killers and investigations have been launched.
Meanwhile, a suspected thug was yesterday dawn shot dead in a botched robbery incident in Eastleigh area, Nairobi.
The suspect was in the company of two others and had been attacking pedestrians when police were alerted.
Kibue said the officers recovered a sword and stolen cash from the suspect’s body while his accomplices managed to escape.
The incident happened at about 1 am several hours after two suspected terrorists had been killed and a grenade and pistol recovered from them. Police say they have intensified patrols in the city to curb crime at large.
