A day-old baby who was stolen from the Voi County Referral Hospital on Wednesday morning has been found alive.
Detectives found the baby boy hidden in a house in Mwakingali on the outskirts of Voi town on Thursday, and arrested a woman suspected to be behind the theft.
County Police Commander Kipkemboi Rop said the woman was helping the police with investigations.
He said the suspect would be arraigned in court once investigations were complete.
The police officer and Health Executive Giftone Mkaya said the baby had been re-united with his mother.
