Aldi Rizal, 2 years ago whe he was a chain smoker

Aldi Suganda, also known as Aldi Rizal, was an addicted smoker six years ago. The Shocking video of the two year old puffing on cigarettes went viral on YouTube revealing the smoking crisis in Indonesia.

However, six years later the boy has undergone a recovery that most children and teenagers will never have a chance of getting.

His mother, Diana, recalls how her son would smash his head on the wall and even cut himself with a knife if she withheld cigarettes from him.

People accused her of being a reckless mother while questioning her parenting skills. However she blames herself for exposing his child to an environment with smokers.

Aldi used to accompany her mother to the market where she sells vegetables and according to her people there could have introduced him to the smoking habit.
