USA: A man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting his wife with a WAFFLE.
Police say the row sparked when Patrick Manjong complained about having the batter-based snack for his dinner.
When officers arrived his wife was said to still be picking bits of food out of her hair and an official complaint was made to police.
Majong, 39, was arrested for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon - the waffle. He will appear in court in June.
The couple are already said to have filed for divorce.

News station Fox Boston reports police were called to a complaint of domestic assault at the address in Lowell, Massachusetts.
Patrick Manjong's wife of eight years told police the couple began fighting while she was making waffles for dinner. Her husband wasn't happy with the meal and said that waffles and syrup are unhealthy, police said.
Manjong was so angry that he slapped his wife across the face with a waffle and police said they could still see pieces of the food stuck in her hair and face when they arrived.
He denies the allegation.
