Nakuru, Kenya: Underwear worth more than Sh19 million that vanished from a JKIA depot was found in Nakuru recently.
Trial is set to begin for a Nakuru businessman who allegedly stole the underwear that includes panties, bras, g-strings as well as men’s boxers.
John Wambua Mwangi denied in front of a city court that he stole the goods for sale on June 6 and 7.
The imported cargo belongs to Evanson Gitonga, 34, who operates an underwear shop at IBEA building on Moi Avenue.
When Mwangi appeared in court on June 30, the police asked for more time to find out how he allegedly sneaked the items out of Nairobi.
